Moose MethodMore about Coach Moose
Coach Moose has a belief and method for teaching and training young athletes not only the game of baseball but also how to be a desciplined, well-studied player.
Each training session is focused on a few specific areas of development so the team continues to hone skills together. In addition to the normal proactice areas of fielding, hitting and throwing, specific attention is paid to footwork, hand placement, eye contact and form.
Development teams practice at the Moose Lodge in the winter months once a week. Once the weather breaks and school is out, development teams move outdoors and twice a week sessions. Several "controller" scrimmages are held to reinforce learning concepts. One or two tournaments may be scheduled as well.
